Community Relations & Outreach Internship
Location: San Diego, CA
Hours: 5-8 hours per week
Duration: Fall 2025 semester start
Compensation: Unpaid
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Community Relations & Outreach Intern who is eager to support Bloom’s mission by building partnerships and fostering community awareness. The intern will engage with local organizations and individuals, promoting Bloom’s services and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and executing community outreach events and initiatives
Research and identify potential partnerships with local organizations, schools, and nonprofits
Support in developing outreach materials, presentations, and informational resources
Participate in community events and networking opportunities to represent Bloom
Track and report on outreach activities and partnership success metrics
Collaborate with the Social Media & Marketing Intern to promote community events and partnerships online
Qualifications:
Enrolled in a college program, preferably in psychology, social work, communications, marketing, or related fields
Interest in community outreach, mental health advocacy, and nonprofit work
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
Familiarity with Google Suite
Prior experience in event planning, community organizing, or outreach is a plus
