In my early professional years I was asking the question: How can I treat, or cure, or change this person? Now I would phrase the question in this way: How can I provide a relationship which this person may use for his own personal growth?” - Carl Rogers

Starting therapy can seem overwhelming, scary, anxiety-inducing or even shameful. If you are feeling these emotions while reading this, know that you are not alone. It has been my life goal to make a difference in people’s lives just as others have done for me. It is my goal to create an environment in therapy that is warm, vulnerable and accepting. Life can be full of unknowns and I would be honored to walk the unknown with you.

I am deeply privileged to create a relationship with you where I can help you navigate difficulties and foster growth and change in your life. As your therapist, I work through a person-centered lens meaning we will work as a team to help you through your unique life experience. In person centered therapy, you have the power to express your thoughts, feelings and goals without judgment. I am privileged to curate a relationship with you that is authentic, supportive and accepting no matter what. I believe that unconditional positive regard will aid in making positive change in your life. I believe that everyone innately has the qualities to foster growth and healing in oneself but sometimes life throws a wrench at you and gets you stuck. My goal is to help you realize your true potential as we explore, reflect and heal in an unconditionally safe environment.

I am currently a Master of Clinical Counseling student at Point Loma Nazarene University and graduated with a B.A from San Diego State University in Psychology. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, working out and spending time with friends and family.
