Sarah Garcia

Hello! My name is Sarah!

Therapy is an intimidating step to take forward, but I am so glad you are here. You do not have to struggle with your thoughts or emotions alone. I believe in therapy as a safe space to explore and speak openly, and I would love to support you in this process.

My approach embraces a person-centered method to meet individuals where they are creating change while also assisting with reaching desired goals. In the past, I have provided behavioral health services to youth and adults in community-based outpatient settings. Additionally, I have provided behavior modification interventions for diagnosed autistic children. I am eager to continue my training and assist others in promoting positive change.

I have experience working amongst all ages in: Crisis Intervention, Behavior Modification, Anxiety, Depression, and Mindfulness.

I am eager to expand my toolbox of resources. In my free time, I love to walk my two dogs, read fictional books, attend spin classes, and spend quality time with friends and family.

Education:

M.A. Clinical Counseling, Concordia Irvine - (In Progress)

B.A. Psychology, Sonoma State
